One of our customers has developed a device that can withstand extremely high storage temperatures. The device will be installed in a “Beacon” for the sterilization process through an autoclave. The sterilization process lasts for about 1 hour at +135 ° C, the pressure varies between 0 and 4 Bar, and the humidity reaches a saturated state.
During the sterilization process, the device is powered off, the “Beacon” is in “storage mode”, so all components must be able to withstand extreme storage temperatures. After sterilization, the equipment is started again to ensure that there is no residue in the sterilizer. The operating temperature of the device must reach at least +85 ° C, and the storage temperature must exceed +135 ° C. In addition, the customer requires the equipment to withstand 100 tests and a service life of at least 500 sterilization cycles.
Lösung
Our team worked closely with the customer to define the key parameters of the DC planetary gear motor, including operating temperature, storage temperature, size limits, voltage requirements and life requirements. The customer needs a gear motor with a diameter of no more than 30 mm and a voltage of about 3.6V. After careful evaluation, we recommended our 12V DC motor high torque low rpm and equipped it with ball bearings that can withstand the temperature range from -20 ° C to +150 ° C.
Ergebnisse
The project took several months and included an in-depth testing and validation process. We used our 16mm gear motor to simulate and test the working state of the equipment in multiple high temperature sterilization environments. The motor performance exceeded customer expectations, not only performing well in a storage environment of +135 ° C, but also operating stably at an operating temperature of +85 ° C. The customer spoke highly of our R&D capabilities and was satisfied with the final solution.
At present, the customer plans to order 100K PCS of 24v dc motor with gearbox per year after the production expansion. By working with our experienced engineering team, the customer successfully achieved the goals of his high temperature sterilizer application while ensuring the performance and reliability of the equipment.
