INEED 612 series 6mm mini DC gear motors are intended for space‑limited mechanisms where the axial stack-up must be defined early. The motor body length is fixed at L2 = 12.0 mm, while the total length L1 (motor body + gearbox) changes with the reduction ratio: 17.80 mm (5.14:1), 19.60 mm (26.45:1), 21.40 mm (136.02:1), and 23.20 mm (699.55:1). This structure makes it straightforward to reserve space in CAD, confirm assembly clearances, and prepare fixtures before sampling. The four ratios also provide a consistent ladder for evaluating response time versus torque within the same 6mm diameter interface. For mainstream designs, the 609 series is typically used as the first baseline due to broad adoption, while the 615 series is preferred when extra torque margin is required. If your selection is driven mainly by length targets (L1/L2), the 612 series is a practical alternative. Engineering files are available on request.
Customizable items: 1. Length and shape (A and B); 2. Voltage, output speed, torque, etc. ; 3. Adding connectors, lead wire length.

The coreless motor body length is 12 mm. Total length (motor + gearbox) is 17.80 mm (5.14:1), 19.60 mm (26.45:1), 21.40 mm (136.02:1), and 23.20 mm (699.55:1).
Choose 612 when your design is strictly length-limited and you want a compact motor body. If you want the most commonly selected baseline for general integration, start with 609. If your mechanism requires extra torque margin under worst‑case friction or low voltage, consider 615.
We can provide datasheet, 2D outline drawing, STEP 3D model, and performance curves to validate fit, current draw, and operating margin. Share your target torque, motion time, voltage, and duty cycle to get the most relevant curve set.
