Model: IND-12GMW1215
Diameter: 12mm
Body Length: 15mm
Operating Voltage: 5V DC-14V DC
The IND-12GMW1215 12 mm coreless worm gear motor is designed for compact mechanisms that need reduced speed, higher output torque, and stable holding behavior when power is removed. The motor platform is Ø12 mm with a body length around 15 mm, and it supports a wide operating voltage range of 5–14 V DC for common embedded power rails. Typical gearbox options include 59:1, 300:1 and 1168:1 ratios, allowing you to balance output speed, load torque, and current consumption based on your duty cycle. Direction change is achieved by reversing the DC polarity, which simplifies wiring and controller selection. For OEM integration, we can customize shaft length/geometry, lead wires and connectors, output interface parts, and add-on feedback such as an encoder. RoHS-compliant versions are available. Share your target speed, torque, installation envelope, and working cycle for a matched recommendation.
Customizable items: 1. Length and shape of the shaft; 2. Voltage, output speed, torque, etc. ; 3. Adding connectors, lead wires; 4. Adding gears to shaft; 5. Adding encoder.

It is designed for 5–14 V DC systems. For best performance and temperature control, we recommend selecting the winding and ratio based on your actual load torque and duty cycle.
This is a DC motor drive: swap the supply polarity to switch CW/CCW. Your driver (H-bridge) can handle direction control electronically without mechanical changes.
Worm gear structures typically provide resistance to back-driving, which helps with position holding. However, the real holding capability depends on ratio, lubrication, load shock/vibration, and safety requirements—please provide your load and conditions so we can validate or recommend an additional brake if needed.
