The IND-24GMW370 is a 370-size worm drive gear motor built on a Ø24 mm, 30.8 mm body platform for compact actuator modules. It is designed for low-voltage electromechanical systems with a 3–12 V DC operating range, and it can be configured in common rated voltages such as 6 V and 12 V (24 V versions are available by selecting the proper winding and ratio set). Gear ratios are selectable from 46:1 up to 2000:1, allowing you to tune output speed, torque, and current draw around your real duty cycle. This motor has been in stable mass production for years and is widely used in smart door lock mechanisms where consistent fit, repeatability, and supply continuity matter. For OEM projects, we support shaft geometry changes, wire/connector options, output interface parts, and optional encoder integration. Most lock actuators are built around 6 V or 12 V architectures. Select the rated voltage based on your battery/PSU and required peak torque; we can recommend winding + ratio after you share load torque and duty cycle.
It depends on latch structure and required actuation time. This platform supports 46:1 to 2000:1; we usually start selection from your target output RPM and required stall/peak torque, then validate current and temperature rise in your cycle.
Worm reduction provides back-drive resistance, which helps hold position in many lock structures. For safety-critical requirements, please validate against shock/vibration and specify the holding torque target so we can confirm the configuration or advise an additional mechanical solution.
