This Ø7mm coreless planetary gearmotor is suitable for these designs where the priority is stable output in a limited envelope, frequent start/stop operation, and strict constraints on mass and perceived noise.
The plastic planetary stage supports compact reduction in a lightweight package. The cross output interface is intended for direct mating with molded couplers commonly used in brush-head and applicator assemblies, improving torque transfer consistency when there is limited space for clamping or set screws. If your mechanism includes end-stops, current limiting is recommended to avoid extended operation near stall conditions.
This motor uses a cross-type output to provide a form-fit interface in very small assemblies. Compared with a smooth round shaft, the cross profile improves coupling stability when the mating part is molded plastic and the design cannot accommodate set screws.
A protective plastic housing is used around the gearbox section to protect the geartrain during handling and assembly, and to simplify installation into compact modules. For applications with high duty cycle, shock loading, or repeated hard end-stops, please confirm your duty cycle and target output torque so we can recommend an operating point with adequate margin.
Motor body length options 10mm / 14mm / 16mm / 20mm allow you to balance axial space with torque reserve and thermal margin. Shorter lengths may be sufficient for light-load intermittent motion. Longer lengths are typically selected to improve operating stability under higher duty cycle or higher load.
To shorten sampling time, please provide: target output speed (rpm), required torque (or force at a known lever radius), supply voltage range, duty cycle (on/off timing), and end-stop behavior. We will propose a configuration and test point suitable for sampling and production.
