The customer is a smart home company, and their design team contacted us to provide a brushless gear motor with diameter less than 30mm, and over length less than 50mm and noise level less than 40dB. The smart curtain uses a brushless gear motor to drive the curtain and move it back and forth along a track. This is achieved by controlling the forward and reverse rotation of its core motor. In the morning, it opens automatically, at night, it shuts itself off.
Users can control everything from their phone or tablet. Smart curtains can be used not only at home, but also in offices, hotels and other places.
Solution:
Our sales engineer team carefully studies the needs of our customers. We just have a brushless gear motor that can meet the needs of our customers, but we need to improve the motor noise. We replaced parts of the raw material, built prototypes, and tested them with our noise meter, which kept the noise level under 30dB.
Results:
Two tests were conducted internally by the customer. Finally, our brushless reduction motor passed the test. Customers placed orders based on their 16-month forecast demand and look forward to working with us for a long time.
